LorAnn Pistachio Flavor 1 Dram

A mild, nutty flavor popular in Mediterranean baked goods. Think Baklava or Spumoni! Pistachio flavor is great added to desserts to impart a nutty flavor. Substitute Pistachio flavor extract in any recipe that calls for a nut flavoring such as almond, pecan, or walnut.

1 dram = about 1 teaspoon

Appropriate for use in chocolates and coatings, but may cause some thickening. Add liquified coconut oil, or cocoa butter to thin/smooth (typical use is 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon per pound).
